About Gunny​

 

Gunnhildur Birna (Gunny) is a  freelance makeup artist based in Iceland and has been working in the industry since 2010.

 

Gunny studied makeup artistry at MOOD Makeup School in Reykjavík in 2011, followed by an airbrush course in 2012 and a masterclass in 2015. She has worked on various assignments, all from countless bridal- and individual makeup sessions to campaigns, music videos and magazine editorials.Her client list includes ELLE Magazine (Singapore), GLAMOUR (Iceland) Masculin Journal (Austria), Mansur Gavriel (US) and Cintamani (Iceland). Other than that, she has considerable experience from other aspects of the beauty industry, working for Bobbi Brown, Make Up Store and L'Oréal in Iceland.
